Saturday morning started out with Cosette sleeping in. We had to wake her up at 9:30.
At first she was more excited about her balloons and decorations than her gifts...
Then she saw her bike.
Mema Julia and Papa Steve came over for breakfast and brought doughnuts and brought over part of her gift. 'little shop shops' (littlest pet shops)
We made one of her favorites: chocolate chip pancakes and chocolate milk.
That evening we headed over to the Thomson's for her celebration with the Thomson clan.
She LOVED opening her cards and still has the cutest little candy corn fingers.
She was spoiled beyond measure and had so much fun opening all of the gifts. It was the first time she could open her presents on her own and it was so cute.
the Lakes gave her a doll and my Mom gave her a pack 'n play. She guarded that with her life all night long.
She has mastered the art of blowing out the candles.
This is the best family shot we got all weekend long.
The next day we celebrated with the Ruggles. Cosette and Courtney share the same birthday and were born in the same hospital and were delivered by the same doctor exactly one year a part.

Cousins, friends, grandparents: thank you for making Cosette's birthday so exciting for her.

I can't believe your little Cosette is already 2! She has got to be one of the cutest things I've ever seen, and her personality cracks me up. We can't wait to see you, and Elle can't wait for a playdate with that little girl!
